“I want you to feel the same way at Agave that you would at our family’s table, welcome, comfortable, and well fed.
As the new owners, my family and I are excited to bring a little of ourselves into a place that already means so much to this community. We’re introducing flavors from our Latin roots and blending them with the Mexican favorites and Louisiana personality you know and love. We’re building on what makes Agave special, with a few new family-inspired favorites along the way.
Agave was born in Acadiana, and we’re proud to help write its next chapter. As we bring our vision to life, we hope you’ll be part of the journey. We want Agave to grow into an even stronger part of this community, a place where people from all walks of life come together, feel welcome, and are treated with the same love and care we share around our own family’s table.
To our longtime guests, thank you for being part of Agave’s story. To those joining us for the first time, we look forward to welcoming you.
There’s always room for you at our table.”

Always a wonderful experience here! They're known for their margaritas, but my favorite thing to do is meet friends and family here and enjoy the outdoor patio! Plenty of seating for our larger groups, and a very accommodating manager. Would definitely recommend
Funky little joint to stop in for drinks and food! Staff was friendly and the drinks were great. We got the Del La Hoya Margarita & the Agave Fresca both with Don Julio 1942 Reposado and they were awesome!
I love this little gem! It's the perfect place to relax and enjoy a sunny day, esp. with Margaritas! The service was very good, attentive, quick and hospitable! We cannot wait to go back again, and again!
Neat place downtown, just across from the park. Service was spot on. The young man who waited on us did a great job. Our drinks stayed full. the food came out fast. The brisket tamales were incredible. One person at the table had a burrito that was also great. Music was good. Overall it was a great dining experience, cannot wait to go back!
Food was delicious. We came in with a party of about 40- they really went out of their way to make sure everyone had everything they needed. Music was fun- vibe was great- great menu options with lots of unique twist/dishes. Definitely will be back and highly recommend.
